On behalf of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Metropolitan Nashville Chapter –it is an honor to bring greetings from the dedicated women who make our 2015-2016 chapter great. We are living in changing times. As an organization we stand up for those who cannot. We provide voices to those who have been silenced, and we take our purpose to address issues that affect women of African descent seriously. We advocate for equal rights and opportunities, and aim to increase the awareness of black culture. We believe in leverage through partnership, and strive to promote health, economic development and education within the African American Community.
There is much work to be done, however we know that where there is synergy, there is strength, and where there is strength, there is influence, and change can and will follow.
Join us as we work to change the future from only telling “His-Story”, to valuing “Her-Story” also, and let Her-Story be one that reflects how we stood our ground to define ourselves, took credit for our many successes and contributions, and reached back to ensure that all of us get there together.
There is much work to be done. It all starts with each of us deciding to get off the side line and get in this game we call life.
